Risk Management Grants

Any risk management project or initiative is eligible for a grant, provided it is aimed at reducing liability or property claims.

For example, a member could use their grant to fund a policy audit, conducted by a risk management consultant or one of the MIABC’s Risk Control Specialists. The audit might include interviews with staff to better understand whether service levels and resources are sufficient, resulting in recommendations for additional policies or policy revisions.

It’s easy for our members to get involved and put this funding to work for their community.

To apply for this grant, simply identify a risk management initiative you would like to implement and tell us how you expect it to reduce liability or property claims.

The process, from application to approval, is usually less than 72 hours.
