Ruth Hoyte is a recent addition to the MIABC Board having joined in 2019 after serving a term on the SILGA Board. She brings a wide variety of insurance experience with her as she owned and operated her family brokerage for 25 years. She has served on both the Insurance Brokers Association of B.C. and the Insurance Council of B.C.
Currently lending support in her MIABC role to both the Claims Committee and Membership Committee, she has found the culture at the MIABC to be enlightening. In her role as an Insurance broker, she placed client service as paramount, and finds the philosophy at the MIABC fits well within her own passion to serve in the best interest of clients, just as MIABC serves to look after their members.
