The MIABC has implemented a new awards program which recognizes those of its members who have shown excellence in the advancement of the practice of risk management. The awards, which will include Risk Management Grants of up to $5,000.00, will be presented at the MIABC’s 8th Annual Risk Management Conference during the banquet on Wednesday, April 17th.
Some of the criteria we will be evaluating the submissions on include:
- Efficiency-time saved, standardization
- Impact-degree and breadth applied
- Safety
- Innovation
- Community gain
If you feel that your Local Government has successfully implemented an innovative risk management project please complete the application below and nominate yourselves for this award.
Completed forms should be emailed to Susan Ackerman at sackerman@miabc.org along with any relevant documents, such as a copy of the policy/procedure created, a copy of the new inspection procedure, and/or before and after pictures, no later than Friday, February 15, 2019.
