Human Rights Code (Deep Dive)

Carolyn MacEachern, Barrister & Solicitor, Young Anderson

In this session, we will do an in depth review of Sections 8 and 13 of the Human Rights Code. As employers and service providers, local governments face the most risk of complaints under these sections. We will review how the Tribunal interprets and applies each of these sections and will review case law involving local governments.
