The 2023 wildfire season in BC marked the worst in our history, with over 22,500 square kilometres burned, nearly doubling the 12,000 square kilometres recorded in 2021. This season also brought an early start, affecting some communities with a sequence of flood, fire, and subsequent flooding. The MIABC's Response Ready program extended offers of assistance to almost all areas of the province during these challenging times.

In this webinar, Sandra and Marina will answer common questions posed by members through the MIABC's Response Ready outreach initiatives. They will also review the relevant coverages offered under the MIABC's liability and property programs, specifically those pertaining to emergency events, as well as explore how Response Ready can support members before, during, and after these events.
