Maria is the Chief Financial Officer of the Municipal Insurance Association of B.C. Maria joined the MIABC in 2015 with over 17 years of experience in financial and operational management within the technology and engineering consulting industries. Maria’s core qualifications include accounting and financial management, corporate reporting, and decision support. Maria is also experienced in taxation matters between multi-national jurisdictions and international expansion initiatives.
Maria is inspired by this dedicated community of local government professionals and enjoys the MIABC’s role in helping local government improve the quality of life in B.C.
Maria is a CPA, CGA and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
