Manuel is originally from El Salvador, where he studied Business Administration before moving to Canada in 2008. After arriving in Canada, he worked in the hospitality industry while obtaining an Accounting Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He also gained a wealth of accounting experience and knowledge while working for several different companies here in Vancouver.
Manuel joined the MIABC in November 2022. He works with the Finance department on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks, and he also supports the Administration department.
Manuel believes that the MIABC offers a great organizational culture that values collaboration, is inclusive, and provides support to the communities in BC.
