Elizabeth joined MIABC in 2023, and in her role as in-house counsel handles a wide variety of municipal defence, personal injury, insurance defence, and property damage cases on behalf of MIABC members.
Prior to joining MIABC, Elizabeth practiced for over five years at a foreclosure litigation boutique, where she was named Team Lead of the lawyer division. Before that, Elizabeth practiced at a family boutique specializing in high-conflict family litigation. Elizabeth has conducted hearings at the BC Supreme Court, BC Provincial Court, BC Court of Appeal, Residential Tenancy Tribunal, and the Downtown Community Court.
A longtime Vancouverite, Elizabeth completed both her undergraduate studies and her J.D. at the University of British Columbia, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2017. Elizabeth appreciates the opportunity to give back to her home province in a tangible way through her work at MIABC.
