The Municipal Insurance Association of British Columbia marked its 25th year of operation by instituting a Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize the contributions of those who played an indispensible role in its creation and subsequent success. The inaugural awards were presented to Richard Taylor, Dan Cumming, and Ken Olive at a special event held in conjunction with the 2013 Union of British Columbia Municipalities Convention in Vancouver.
